The Exclusivity of Greatness

“Like it’s some unreachable safe and only a small percentage of humanity were born with the key - odds are it isn’t us!”

I struggle with writing in the first-person about my inner knowings and experiences. It reminds me of when I would read first-person accounts from others about these things and internally scream, “me too!”. Not as in to say, “you’re not special”, but because people respond to it by making that person out as special.

I try my best to discuss these knowings and experiences in a way that encourages everyone to look within and connect to personal ones, not feel left behind in some specialty race. Not in a way that creates false prophets - whether the subject meant to make one of themselves or not.

Many of us aren’t presently able to look at ourselves for much Greatness. When we arrive on Earth, we are connected to soul wisdom, simply waiting for the way to be shown. But things praised as great in this world are many and varied. Some may get sucked into a false story, doing their best to achieve their Greatness. While others may reject everything for nothing True has yet to present itself. They wander lost.

It does not help that when we get close to it in fairytales, folklore, movies, books, and spiritual practices; there is always a message of “only a few great ones”, “the few who are pure”, or wise or magical. In fact, it’s these messages sprinkled in something inspiring that have discouraged me the most.

This combination of insecurity in what Greatness looks like along with “Greatness exclusivity” leaves so many of us empty of hope for our own Greatness to ever manifest. Like it’s some unreachable safe and only a small percentage of humanity were born with the key - odds are it isn’t us!

Yes, the purity, wisdom, clarity, magic, and greatness is difficult to hold in full expression and authenticity. But the difficulty lies in not giving in to these doubts. Relentlessly believing that you were born with and from Greatness. Focus on keeping that flame safe and fed. Do the necessary work to nurture your Greatness. Do this, and there will be no doubt in what Greatness looks like because you will be immersed in the vitality of it.
